Hello Hello is a high-dive cafe and bar known for its live DJ's, innovative coffee drinks and cocktails, exceptional service, and lively atmosphere. We pride ourselves on creating memorable experiences for our guests and fostering a dynamic team environment. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Daytime Cafe Manager to help lead our operations.

Job Overview:  The Cafe Manager will be 3 days a week and will oversee aspects of operations, including staff management, customer service, and inventory control. This role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for coffee, strong business acumen, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests, addressing concerns, and maintaining high service standards.
• Being able to make espresso based drinks and work alongside the barista
• Supervise and train cafe staff, ensuring adherence to service protocols and drink preparation standards.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and tracking supplies to maintain optimal cafe operations.
• Manage daily shift operations, including staff schedules, workflow, and coverage during peak hours.
• Monitor the quality of beverages and service, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement promotional strategies to increase sales and attract new customers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices and safe service.

• Train staff on coffee knowledge, preparation techniques, and upselling strategies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a management and/or cafe manager role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a coffee shop or cafe setting.
• Strong knowledge of coffee operations. Knowledge of cocktails and spirits are a plus.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
