Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Training and Support Services Branch Chief, the Supervisor I serves as the Training Officer for the Office of Administrative Services (OAS). The incumbent oversees a unit responsible for the development, delivery and tracking of training; the creation, implementation, and maintenance of training-related policies and procedures; and the procurement of training related contracts for OAS.

Working Conditions

Permanent/Full-time
Monday – Friday

This position is located at: 1416 9th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814.

Employees in this position work in an office setting in a high-rise building in downtown Sacramento, and  are required to work extensively on computers as necessary for drafting of letters, other documents,  research, email communication, file review, training, and other purposes. Being in a stationary position  for long periods of time.

2. Provide your experience giving presentations to internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to direct and oversee program/project management activities and facilitate successful  delivery.
  • Ability to effectively research, identify, synthesize, and resolve complex operational issues and  information.
  • Knowledge of the contract development and administration processes.
  • Experience working with relational databases and developing reports.
  • Ability to effectively manage, lead, and coach staff.
