Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Saratoga Springs, NY. Start date: 08/24/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $1,792–$1,906 per week. Guaranteed hours: 32 hours per week (alternate weeks of 32 and 36 hours). Shift: 3x12-hour shifts with start times that vary (7:00a–7:30p or 9:00a–9:30p). Setting: hospital ER providing full-spectrum, age-inclusive care.

Responsibilities
- Provide urgent and emergent care to adults and pediatrics in the ER, including initial assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring
- Interpret and act on rhythm strips; telemetry monitoring; administer medications via Omnicell and follow order sets
- Document care in the EPIC electronic health record with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (interpretation services, physicians, and ancillary staff) to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Ensure patient and family education, safety, and infection control throughout the shift
- Maintain readiness to float within the hospital per manager discretion and uphold 12-hour shift handoffs

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand at submission
- BLS, PALS, and NIH (listed) certifications required
- Minimum of 5 years ER experience with adults and pediatrics
- Telemetry experience; EPIC charting experience; Omnicell medication system proficiency
- Ability to read EKG rhythms and pass facility rhythm identification and critical rhythms tests; Relias EKG exam within 72 hours of signing
- Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN licensure in NY
- Willingness to float within the hospital per manager discretion and to work 12-hour shifts
- Flu vaccine required by 11/1; COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment area are not accepted
